Frame Lens Replacement Terms
These terms apply when you ask Byron Bay Optical to replace lenses in frames you supply.
Inspection Before Production
We'll inspect your frames before production begins. Lens work will not start until your frames have been received and confirmed as suitable.
Frame Suitability
Some frames may not be suitable for lens replacement. Byron Bay Optical will inspect your frames before production begins and reserves the right to decline work if the frames are unsuitable, damaged, brittle, or unsafe to fit. If there is an issue, we'll contact you before proceeding to discuss your options.
Customer-Supplied Frame Risk
Customer-supplied frames are handled with care, but Byron Bay Optical is not responsible for damage or breakage to customer-supplied frames during assessment, handling, or lens fitting. Older, brittle, damaged, or previously repaired frames may carry a higher risk of damage or breakage.
Transit And Packaging
Please send your frames in a hard case or protective packaging. Byron Bay Optical is not responsible for damage that occurs while your frames are in transit to us. You are responsible for arranging and paying postage to send your frames to us.
Fitting Photo
The photo you upload during configuration is used for optical fitting measurements, especially determining how your eyes sit within the frame and eye height. Final frame suitability is confirmed once we receive and inspect your physical frames.
